Sunshine & Rainbows
Hello & Happy Thursday.
Recently I have been full of energy and happiness, finding the positive in these strange times. This in turn is inspiring my creativity, so I am full of sunshine and rainbows on the blog today!
I don't know many people or crafters that don't like sunshine or rainbows and the Brighter Days clear stamp set from Concord & 9th is just the ticket for making bright and cheerful cards.
As usual I started off with my usual clean and simple style, but was sure to add some fun, cheerful and bright colours. The rainbow is super easy to line up and stamp, but the quirky design is really forgiving too. I added a bit of dimension by adhering the clouds using foam adhesive and also the stamped panel to my coloured card base.
My second card today has a little more detail, still lots of colour and super fun!
I love using sentiment stamps to create a background and this 'Sending Sunshine and Rainbows' sentiment from the set is beautifully designed to create a fun and colourful background.
With a colourful background I decided to accent the card with a monochrome colour scheme rainbow and a simple accent sentiment panel. I love how this one turned out too!
