Cosmos
Jen here and today I am stamping onto cork instead of paper for a completely different look. With all the different types of inks out there you are able to stamp onto pretty much anything. When i was sorting out a couple of weeks ago I found some scraps of cork matting - perfect to try and stamp on.
I stamped the big flower from Waffle Flowers Cosmos October Birthday set using Versa Fine Clair Nocture ink but you could use stazon or some other inks providing you let it dry as its a porous media.
I trimmed down the panel and then created an olive green card base. I added a small panel of Ocean card stock from concord & 9th and then doodled around the edges of both pieces.
I mounted the cork piece at an angle and trimmed off the edges. I added some black glifter to the centre of the flower and then I finished off with a simple sentiment from the Bold Sentiments stamp set from Altenew.
