Fluttering by...
Hey, Terri here! Today I have a super cute secret garden window card to share with you. When I first saw the Secret Garden Window Die I wasn't sure that it was something that I would use, but after seeing lots of projects by the Lawn Fawn DT I was swayed! Today I've decided to team it up with the Butterfly Kisses Stamp Set.
I started by cutting the outer dotted window from the Secret Garden Window Die into a piece of white cardstock, I then cut the inner floral window from another piece of white cardstock. I then used alcohol markers to add colour to the flowers and leaves. The die set also includes seom added floral dies that you can cut and add in to the scene, I cut a few of these too.
Next I stamped the rabbit from the Butterfly Kisses Stamp Set along with some of the little butterflies, I coloured them with alcohol markers and used the Butterfly Kisses Die Set to cut them out. I die cut some green card with the Slimline Grassy Hillside Die and added a Cloudy Sky to an A2 card using the Cloudy Sky Stencil before putting everything together.
I remebered that I hadn't added my chosen sentiment but luckily I used enough foam tape that I was able to stamp a crisp sentiment without any issues. Lastly I added glitter to flower heads for added sparkle.
I'm really pleased with how this card turned out and look forward to using the Secret Garden Window more in the future.
