Sky High Birthday Balloons and Store News

Hello - hope you're having a lovely weekend and found some time to get your craft on. I've been playing with a couple of items from the new release from the Greetery - I know some sold out - sorry we didn't get the numbers right - its really hard to predict what will be most popular - but worry not - sell outs will come back - all you need do is request the ones you want to be counted in our re-order reports ;-)

I really loved the shape of the balloons in the Hey Honeycomb Balloon dies - whilst the roundness is designed to fit both the honeycomb paper balls and the inflated sentiments - they're just a lovely round shape and the realistic wobbly bottom really caught my eye. I also really loved the HB in the new Four Square Tag Birthday sentiment set - again designed to fit the four square tag die, but perfect for other uses too and I immediately thought the balloons could lift the die cut letters to make a fun card.

I die cut 3 balloons in shades of pink and 3 curly strings from kraft using the Balloon dies and added some tiny bows from the wreath in the Curio Attic Ornaments set. I stamped the HB from the stamp onto pink card with Wildberry ink and cut it out, wrapping the strings from 2 of the balloons around them so the balloons can lift them up.

To create a card I used a DL base, and added clouds with a cloud stencil with some oxide inks. I layered the balloons on top using glue and foam squares to pop them all up at different heights.

Hopefully that gives you another idea of how to use the new release.

NEWS FROM THE STORE

Due to an admin error on Altenew's part, our latest delivery has been stuck in customs for over a week, but we've finally had confirmation it's now cleared so hopefully we'll get delivery tomorrow. It's unlikely we'll get it added to store until later in the week as we've got all the Greetery orders to pack tomorrow but it will hopefully be in store by the middle of the week.
MFT - we took a bit of a break from MFT as we seemed to have little interest in the last couple of orders of theirs we got before Christmas. We have had requests for some of the new stuff so we've got some of the releases from the last couple of months coming soon - we ordered last week but we're still waiting on it to ship. Again - we hope it will be here this week. Some items were out of stock on their end so if something you wanted didn't arrive, drop us a message and we'll try again next time.
Scrapbook Adhesives - as both Lawn Fawn and The Greetery have dies designed to work with specific products from their range, we've decided to add their brand to store. We hope this will excite many UK crafters as we know the brand is hard to source in the UK. We've got a range of their foam adhesive products, glue runners and refills due this week.
Waffle Flower Crafts have a new release on the 5th May - our order is in, but a couple of products have been delayed so they don't anticipate being able to ship store orders until after the 5th May. We hope we'll get it about a week or so after release. There won't be grip mats again this month but we hope they will be available with their June release so get you restock requests in during May so we know how many of each size will be required once they're available again.
For those of you who wondered about Mama Elephant this month - we didn't have enough to meet minimum order quantities - so we'll be getting the April release with the May and hope that will be here for the 15th May.
We will also have Concord and 9th and Lawn Fawn in May so it will be a busy month!
