Congratulations!

Hello, Terri here! Today I am sharing another card using the Kanga-riffic stamp set and add-on set from Lawn Fawn. My previous card was birthday themed, today I'm sharing a card for expectant parents!

I start by stamping all of my chosen images from the Kanga-riffic Stamp Set and the Kanga-riffic add-on stamp set onto 80lb super smooth white cardstock. When stamping the muma Kangaroo, I stamped the baby directly onto her so it was in her pouch. You can stmp and cut seperatly but I didn't want the white edge that the die leaves. I use an alcohol friendly ink to stamp as I then coloured all of the images using alcohol markers. I cut the images with my die cut machine using the coordinating Kanga-riffic die set and Kanga-riffic add-on die set.

To create the background for my scene I used the Grassy Stencil to ink blend a little grass area, I then use the other edge of the stencil to mask the grass. I added some masking tape about 2cm above and then added the soil, I chose a redish brown as Australlia have that type of soil. I then masked all of the inked areas and used the Cloudy Stencil to ink blend the sky.

I used a die from the Scalloped Rectangles dies to cut the ink blended background and adhered it an A2 notecard which I had already added a patterned paper too. I then started to add all of my die cut images. I heat embossed a sentiment form the Kanga-riffic Baby Sentiment Add-on Stamp Set onto balck card and die cut it with a banner, I adhered this to the bottom of the scene.

Confession time- I used an out of stock item! I used the Scripty Congrats die to add a gold glitter sentiment at the top of the card.
