I thought with Easter just a couple of weeks away I'd call upon these Mama Elephant Chicks to help me send some seasonal wishes....

No matter what set you choose in the Little Agenda family, the characters always look like they are having fun and sometimes even getting into some mischeif!! These little chicks are no exception and were already stamped, cut and coloured too which goes to show its always a good idea to stamp the whole gang even if you're not going to use them all as they make a speedy card at a later date. I love to gather them around a large focal sentiment and the blue paint obviously dictated my colour choice for the Spell Anything Alpha diecuts....

I cut the letters in white and blue card to layer them up for a bit of dimension, I cut away part of the blue 'r' because.... well, as you can see, painting is still in progress.... and it looks like it's not the only thing to get painted either!! I arranged the letters and chicks onto a separate panel of card that had been trimmed to fit on a DL sized card blank. I spaced the letters to accomodate the chicks and filled the gaps with some grass and flowers from an older stamp set in my stash. I love the whimsy font which works well with the fun chicks.

I attached the panel to the card front and then added a couple more chicks peeking/appearing from behind it and doodled a thin border around the panel which helped to break up the white space. These little guys just make me smile... just what you need on a Monday morning :)
