I thought I'd try a different card design for todays post. It's a bridge card, which you can easily find instructions for out there on You Tube, and I thought it would work for an ocean scene featuring Avery Elle's Legendary stamp set..

I've coloured the Kraken and cut it out using scissors so I could tuck it between the die cut waves that span the card front. The waves I've used are older dies that are no longer available but you can use any and I've linked a set below. The Avery Elle set called Shine Bright seemed the perfect match with the tall lighthouse as well as the small wave patterns to give movement to the ocean.

I have used a cloud stencil to make the background before adding any scenery and the sentiment is stamped onto a strip of black card and attached to the front along with a cloud die cut. Here's a top view to show the layers... the card just flattens to one side and fits in an envelope easily...

It's a fun design to make and something a bit different from the usual style of card... I hope you give it a try too.
