Birthday Queen

Birthday Queen

I've been using a few older crafting products to make a card fit for a Queen!! Well perhaps not a real one but you can make any birthday girl feel special by using MFT's Queen for the Day stamp set and Crown die...

I cut the crown in a couple of pieces of white card and a final layer of gold foiled card which are stacked for some extra strength and dimension..... I added a few purple jewels and some gold glitter stickles for decoration.

For the background panel I used the Deco Stitched border die and ran the card stock through the Bigshot a few times whilst moving the die down the panel to make a larger pattern, I like the subtle effect and the circles mimic the circular jewels in the crown too.

I added a splatter of purple paint and a few of the gold foiled dots from the crown die to the background. The sentiment is gold embossed in the space under the stitched pattern and I layered the panel over a strip of foiled purple cardstock.... not a colour I use much but it seems to have a royal feel to it!

Thanks for stopping by, catch you next week :)
