Build-A-Gumball Machine Shaker card

Build-A-Gumball Machine Shaker card

Hey there, Terri here! Today I sharing a shaker card using Lawn Fawn's Build-A-Gumball Machine Die Set.

I started by die cutting all of the elements from coloured cardstock, I chose shades of blue and textured silver. The die set has 1 large base die, which I cut 6 times from whire card. I adhered 5 of them together and then added an acetate piece for the glass area of the machine. I then added the 6th piece on top to sandwhich the acetate in place.

I die cut the Gumballs from whit card and ink blended them before adding Glossy Accents on top to give a domed effect. I stamped a sentiment onto the back section of the Gumball machine using the Magic Messages Stamp Set, I'm sorry to say this is currently out of stock..you can hit the notify me when back in stock button and also add it to your wishlist! I added some colour to the sentiment using gel pens and set it aside to dry.

Next I prepared a card base using some stripey paper from the Pint-Sized Patterns Summertime 6x6 Paper Pad. I then added another patterned paper with a small dark blue mat beneth. I die cut a banner from blue card and added this to the lower area of the card to ground the Gumball Machine.

I then added the sentiment section of the Gumball Machine, placed a few of the Gumballs on top and then adhered the Gumball Machine over the top. I added more gumballs to look like they where falling out of the machine and a pile of silver coins. Lastly I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the machine.
