Hello!
Today I am sharing a masculine thinking of you card using the NEW Concord & 9th Scattered Dots Turnabout and a sentiment from the NEW The Stamping Village Thinking of You stamp set.
The norm for thinking of you and sympathy cards is often to use a floral of some sort and even if the card is for a man it often seems appropraite under the circumstances. However, sometimes florals just aren't the right choice and I needed a card for such an occasion and this is what I came up with.
When I saw the Scattered Dots Turnabout in the new C9 release I knew it would be a useful and versatile addition to my stamping collection. The larger style dots and ease of using the turnabout creates an awesome background in no time at all.
With the card being super simple with a pattened background and bold sentiment, I personalised the card by using the recipients favourite colours.
This simple card design can be adjusted to suit so many different occasions by changing out the colours and adding a different sentiment.
