I've had fun colouring these little Astronauts from Avery Elle's latest release, I love using my grey markers for their space suits as well as getting inky making galaxies...

I used Distress Oxides to create the galaxy on the base card for this project and added a faux metal frame using the Plus Frame die cut with brushed silver mirri card.... I think it suits the space theme well.

For this design I used the Starry Scene stamp to create the galaxy with Distress inks and misted the stamp before applying the colour to the card so the colours blended together in a faux watercolour style. You can also go for the real thing and use your inks to watercolour the Star Scene die before adhering it to your card base instead.

I love how the set includes some extra craters to add to the moon should you need to extend it to fit your card and I just have to say... isn't that little alien the cutest too :)
