Happy Bee-Day
Hello crafters. I hope everyone is keeping well. It is good to set ourselves a challenge in these times so I'm continuing with my 'no-colouring' series with this set of birthday cards featuring the Sugar Pea Designs Hey Honey stamp set and some Lawn Fawn Simple Puffy Clouds dies. These are really simple to create and mass produce if you're in need of some quick cards!
I started out by adhering an A6 background panel of Lawn Fawn Moonstone cardstock to an A6 to-folding card base. I then stamped out the bear from the Hey Honey stamp set on some kraft cardstock and cut out with the coordinating dies. I stamped the bear again onto some white cardstock and fussy cut the nose, adhering it onto the kraft die cut for some added dimension.
The bees were really easy to stamp, firstly stamping the outline in black ink and then stamping the body over with some yellow ink. These were also die cut with the coordinating dies. The clouds were cut from some white cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Simple Puffy Clouds dies. I adhered these pieces to the background panel with a mixture of glue and foam tape.
The sentiments were stamped from the Hey Honey stamp set and and cut into strips with a paper trimmer.
