I couldn't wait any longer..... it's that colourful time of the year coming and I just had to break out the autumnal golds and reds for these Stitched Leaves, they certainly make me happy....

I cut the leaves using white textured card and then blended Distress Oxides on them using sponge daubers, when they were dry I added a few spots of brown water-colour paint by flicking them with a paintbrush. The background is made using the Swirls die from Concord & 9th, I laid it horizontally accross the cardfront and ran it through my bigshot. I knocked the little dots out to leave tiny holes.... you could add a piece of contrasting card or paper to the inside to show through if you wanted but I left them as they are.

I flicked the front panel with two shades of mettallic paint and then added the sentiment using the Tall Type alpha and Tiny Tagalongs sentiment set. I love the pop of all the colours on the brown card base... not very often I use a coloured base so it makes a nice change.
