Kanga-riffic Double Slider Surprise

Kanga-riffic Double Slider Surprise

Hi, Terri here! Today I am sharing an intereactive birthday card using lots of Lawn Fawn products.

I started by stamping and colouring all of the images from both the Kanga-riffic Stamp Set and the Kanga-riffic Add-on Stamp Set. I always stamp onto 80lb super smooth cardstock using an alcohol friendly ink. I added white gel pen highlights before cutting the images using the Kanga-riffic Die Set and the Kanga-riffic Add-on Die Set.

Next I started to create the background elements, I used the Cloudy Stencil fro the sky and the Grassy Slimline Stencil for the grass. I ink blended onto a large piece of card so that I could cut the main element and both slider elements, so that the scene flowed. Between the grass and sky I added a soil/dust road section using the grassy stencil as a mask and some post it note tape to create a clean edge below the sky.

Using the Double Slider Surprise Die Set, I cut all of the elements, If you've never made one of these before I recomened watching the Lawn Fawn Intro video on YouTube. I adhered all of the interactive elements together and then stamped my chosen sentiment.

I added some Plaid paper to an A2 note card and then cut a frame from Kraft card using the Scalloped Rectangle Dies and Just Stitching Double Rectangles.  I started to adhere the die cut images to the interactive piece, creating an extending scene. I used some of the small stamps from both set to add little Boing words and also a couple of the dotted lines, this really helps show the movement of the Kangaroos. I then added the interactive element to the card using foam tape.

I am so happy with this card, it's only the second time I've used this interactive die set. Thank you for stopping by today. Have a good week.
