Hello & Happy Thursday!

What a fabulous start to the school summer holidays. Who needs to go abroad when we have hot, hot, HOT sunshine days like we've had! This totally got me into summer mode and I couldn’t resist dusting off the Hero Arts Flower Garden Fancy Die.

I think this floral die screams summer garden to me. With all the beautiful colourful flowers in bloom right now I translated this onto the die by colouring my white die cut with watercolours.

It was such a therapeutic creative task, it has inspired me to use my watercolours more often. They are a medium I often neglect/forget using. Once the coloured die cut was dry I adhered it to a white card base and added a sentiment from Hero Arts Wonderful Stamp & Cut.

This sentiment set is FAB, and covers an array of occasions. I used the wonderful die cut alone, cutting from a scrap of black card. I added the accompanying sentiments and adhered them with foam adhesive.
