I love all the interactive cards, but I tend to make them not that often. I always think they take up too much time, but the dies out there make it so easy. For this card I used Lawn Fawn’s Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up. It was not difficult to put together and took no time at all.

I die cut the box from turquoise cardstock and decorated it using white pigment ink and My Favorite Things’ Cloud stencil.

My Favorite Things’ Best Adventure Bears were part of my “colouring book” I told you last week about. So I had them already coloured (using watercolours and pencils).

To continue with the sky theme I wanted some clouds for the sections of the box. The cloud border dies that fit the project best were Lawn Fawn’s Cloudy Hillside Pop-Up-Add-on. I had to do some partial die cutting because the dies cut at the bottom as well but it worked out fine.

For the sentiment I knew I wanted to use the super cute banners that are included in the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up die set. Mama Elephant’s Lots of Letters had the right size to stamp Happy on the banners. I also added a die cut birthday from Avery Elle’s A Tag for All.
