Birthday Stripes
Hello & Happy Thursday!
Today I am sharing a card I have made with a few Mother's Day treats I ordered myself, well I knew I wouldn't get flowers, so I planned ahead - haha!
As you know I have fallen in love with Concord & 9th products so I added a few more to my collection and combined a couple of the sets on my card today.
The first set I chose is Peek-Through Patterns. I just love pattern and creating my own backgrounds and this set is perfect. I also added the All The Birthdays stamp set because it is just that, ALL the birthday stamps and it contains such a good variety of styles and sizes.
For my card today I selected the stripes from Peek-Through Patterns and it is a really forgiving stamp. No measuring required, I just set to stamping it in my rainbow of colours on my white base card. I used Concord & 9th inks too!
I then wanted a bold sentiment and floral embellishment stamped in black, so I used the solid Happy Birthday stamp from All The Birthdays and added a trio of fussy cut flowers from Peek-Through Patterns.
A fairly quick card to put together, but what I think I like most is the reverse of colour for the background with the bold black sentiment and flowers for contrast.
