Circular Sentiment Stamping with a Stamp Wheel Tool

Circular Sentiment Stamping with a Stamp Wheel Tool

I didn't manage to back myself a Stamp Wheel Tool when they were first released as we had more pre-ordered than we managed to get stocks of, so I let mine go and sat in the queue with the rest of you who should have had your restock notifications on Friday.   So this weekend was the first chance I had to play with it and the first thing I wanted to try was the "wreath building" that the circular top allows for.   I thought it would be really fun to create a birthday card with circular stamped sentiments in a happy rainbow!

I used Itty Bitty Birthday as my sentiment set, which I realise is out of stock, but there are other Itty Bitty sets available and you'll find them all here, or just pull out any sentiments you fancy and get stamping!

If you want to see how I created the sentiments, then you'll find all the details in my YouTube video - its much easier to see it than explain it in words, so head over there for a little watch!  (Sorry we couldn't work out how to just speed up the middle bit so its longer than we wanted!)

Once the sentiments were completed, I added a little rainbow cake to match in the centre using the Take The Cake Mini Die from the Greetery and just colouring the layers in to match my sentiment rings.

If you're thinking, like I was, but I have a stamping tool already I don't need another, then for me this ability to so easily stamp in circles was enough to make me buy one.  I see lots of people loving it for stencilling too, as the sticky mat holds the stencils hands free.  I'll be trying that next so watch out for another of my "not so perfect but real" videos soon.

Happy Stamping!

Tara
