Today I'm getting creative with stamp sets to make this fun shaped card with Avery Elles Peek-a-Boo Coaster and Pool Party stamp sets....

I wanted to see if these two girls would fit into the cars and, with some fussy cutting to separate them from their poolside accessories, I found they did :) I started by stamping the track and cars onto a separate piece of card and trimming round the images to make a shaped piece that's slightly longer than the card base...

The card base has a light blending of blue Distress Oxide ink over it, leaving gaps to represent clouds. Then I added a couple of slits towards the base on either side so I could tuck the ends of the front panel in allowing it to bow outwards.....

Once I knew the postion of the roller coaster cars I was able to add the sentiment to the card base... I used Concord & 9th's Tall Type for a pop of colour and height to the background.

I think they look like they're enjoying the ride.... well perhaps one more than the other!!
