Farming Fun
Morning all and happy almost weekend day! I've got a couple of projects to share today using the adorable new Farming Fun set from Newton's Nook perfect for masculine cards or for anyone who loves a tractor....
I wanted a bright simple card and had to start with a tractor in Massy Fergusson green! Paired with the punny sentiment to add to my belated birthday card stash as I like to have some so I can respond quickly when I get a FB notification that tells me its someone's birthday and I forgot to send a card in time!
I stamped, coloured with copics, and fussy cut the tractor and trailor and then mounted it onto a stitched frame using the Classic Frames from Waffle Flower Crafts. Mounting that onto a matching green background from Waffle Flower's Half Lines Botanicals Pad and stamping the sentiment above and below - CAS but bright and fun!
I also love the punny pickup sentiment so thought I'd make a gift tag too - perfect for tying to a bar of chocolate, a bath bomb, bottle of wine or a bag of homemade baked goods to lift someone who is struggling at the moment.
I stamped the pickup truck directly onto a Tim Holtz Distress Tag from the assortment collection, coloured with pencils and added a couple of strips of card from the Waffle Flower pack.
