Fishing You A Happy Birthday
Jen here and today I am sharing a quick card made using the new Distress colour - Uncharted Mariner in a Clean and simple way by splattering it to create a background. I have paired it with the latest MFT Stacey Yacula set - Reel-y Great Day.
I started by splattering both ink and oxide onto some white card stock with a brush aiming for the bottom edge of the card. I made the card bigger than needed so i could trim the piece i wanted.
I colouring in the bear and fish image from the stamp set using alcohol markers and then cut it out. There are matching dies but they are currently out of stock so just pop a request in via the out of stock notification system to get Tara to order you a set!
I stamped the sentiment onto black card stock and heat embossed in white before cutting out with one of the dies from The Greeterys Pre Text Banner Die set.... this is my go to set!
I mounted the panel onto Green card stock to match, added some staples for a little embellishment and then added the bear on foam tape to the card to finish it off.
