Jen here and today I have a pair of gull-tastic birthday cards suitable for a wide audience from kids to adults. Apart from the sentiments these cards use dies only... and some googly eyes.

I started by cutting out the seagull from the Inquisitive Seagulls die with some textured white card stock and some scraps of yellow for the beaks.

For the first card I wanted it to appear that he was peaking through the card so I created a card base and die cut a circle in the top half. I added a blue piece of card to the inside then lined up the peeping gull.

To cover the bottom i added a scrap of DSP. the gull is finsihed off with some googly eyes. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the white card base using versafine clair nocture black ink.

The second card uses two of the larger size of the gull cut from the same card and then added directly onto a blue card base. I added the sentiment on the front by white heat embossing onto black card stock and creating a banner.

Two really quick and simple cards for a fun birthday.
