Hip Hip Hooray
Everyone likes a cheery "Hip Hip Hooray" and my card today uses a great set from Mama Elephant which covers a few occasions that might require you to cheer the recipient on...
The group of youngsters in this set look a friendly and encouraging bunch don't they, I decided to make a birthday card but there is a good mix of sentiments to choose from in the set. Mixing up old and new sets again, I added a bunch of balloons above them Celebration Balloons.... they're a great size for the crowd gathered beneath.
I wanted something for the background that was subtle so I used a Birthday themed Turnabout stamped in blue ink on blue card for a tone on tone pattern. I trimmed the panel down so the gang could stand in front of the white card base which has been stamped with confetti from the same set. What I hadn't realised is that this turnabout has been discontinued but Concord & 9th seem to have a similar set here with birthday images instead. I added strands of silver thread for balloon strings and attached everything with dimension to the card base.
