I sea....

Die cut a circle from white card the size of your base card
Stamp MFT thick and thin background stamp in versamark ink onto sea glass card and emboss with clear powder.
Ink blend sea over stamping from dark to light in the area that will be behind the die cut circle (i used peacock feathers, salvaged patina and cracked pistachio oxide inks) and buff off the embossed lines.
Stick sea glass to card base and stick white layer on top.

Stamp Lucas form Purple Onion Designs onto white card and colour with your medium of choice - I used pencils and added some dark grey shading overtop to give him a grungy "been a boat for weeks" look befitting a pirate. As Purple Onion don't do dies, I've cut him out with scissors and a craft knife for the bits you can't reach with scissors. It takes practice but it's not as scary as it seems.
Stamp the telescope from Pirate Posessions colour and cut. To make it look more like he's holding it, i snipped off his hand and glued it on top of the telescope.
Stamp the boat and the crab from MFT's You Keep Me Afloat set - this does have matching dies but to keep them matching I cut them again after colouring.
Glue the elements down and add the sentiment from You Keep Me Afloat in your colour of choice - I like to have coloured sentiments sometimes - black gets boring!
