Little Lines

Little Lines

I've been having fun just doing some simple colouring this weekend - I inked up the Little Line Agenda stamps from Mama Elephant on both white and kraft card stock then set myself up in front of the TV with my pencils and watercolours and set about having an evening of colouring.   I often do this - I like to colour outside of the craft room, as it is also our office, and I spend too much time here!   So I stamp and take my colouring downstairs and then bring it back to make the colouring into cards once I'm done.

First off I did a couple of really simple one layer cards - just one image stamped onto the card front - the kraft was coloured with Altenew's pencils, the white one was coloured with watercolour markers and a waterbrush.   Sentiments from Little Agenda Stamp and Itty Bitty Celebrations.

For the second one, I thought I'd do another one layer card but this time I stamped the same line 4 times, allowing a gap for the sentiment and decided to just colour the one.  I used cosmic shimmer paints but the shimmer won't show in the photo.  Itty Bitty Celebrations sentiment again.

For the 3rd, I used Altenew's pencils and their monochrome shader pencils for the dogs - keeping the colour minimal.  I used a blender pencil to smudge the colour out and made the boxes look like packages to match the sentiment which is from the new Simply Blocked Message stamp set.   I added some blue and red card to match for the background to keep it all CAS but a bit more involved than the OLC's.

For the final one, I used the pencils again but this time in a rainbow and did one of my favourite things to make them pop from the kraft background - stacked die cuts, perfect for this kind of stamp and die set.  I just cut another couple of layers of kraft to go behind them.  I added some embossed die cut details to frame them and finished with a stacked sentiment from Simply Blocked Messages.
