Morning! Deborah here with you today. I've been playing with some of my new Altenew stamps to make a floral birthday card.

I am rather fond of hydrangeas and had to get the new Hello Hydrangea stamp set from Altenew. The set includes this large hydrangea, along with some fun vertical and block sentiments as well as some little flowers and a leaf. I stamped the flower on white card, coloured it with Copic markers, returned it to my stamp positioner, stamped with Versafine black ink and heat embossed it. I used the matching Hello Hydrangea die to cut out the flower. I found some pretty dotty paper from my paper stash and cut a panel slightly smaller than the card. I edged the panel with a red marker and adhered it to the card. I adhered the large flower to the card (6¼" x 4½") and trimmed the leaf. I used Altenew's Striped Circle stamp set to make the sentiment for the front of the card. I fussy cut the word 'magical' and used a small die to cut out the other words. On the inside of the card, I used another sheet of design paper for the mat layer and on the white panel I simply stamped the large hydrangea in soft pink off to one side.
