Toot Toot!! Birthdays are for celebrating and Concord & 9th have some great paper party blower dies in their latest release so I've used them to make this pop up birthday card along with the coordinating stamp set....

I went with a bold, colourful palette and had fun die cutting all the shapes in all the colours. I love how this set has been thought out so it's easy to attach the pieces together and you can have the blowers face both left and right. For the inside I die cut three party blowers with streamers and used a simple pop up mechanism to make them stand out from the card...

It's quite a simple design of using a circle that's cut in half and attached using three 'pop up tabs' on the inner card blank....

I measured and cut six lines across the centre of my card, equal distance above and below the centre fold which I then scored so they would bend in a mountain fold whilst the card has a valley fold. You can buy dies from the store that do the same thing if you prefer, just search for 'Pop up Tabs' on the website. I stamped the wording and background confetti before attaching the popped up panel and then made sure to cut my outer card blank large enough to keep all the party streamers inside the folded card. It's quite a simple design but still a fun surprise for the recipient to open... toot toot!!
