Masculine Playful Patterns

Masculine Playful Patterns

Hello!

Today I am sharing a fun masculine birthday card using Concord & 9th Playful Patterns clear stamp set paired with their Tall Type Alphabet Dies and their Tall Type Tagalong Dies.

I started out by stamping the striped pattern from the stamp set in a rainbow of Altenew inks. I then die cut the word birthday, each letter from a different colour.

Originally I had planned to adhered the letters straight to my card base without the monochrome panel below. But when I laid them out they looked flat and something was lacking. That's when the idea to stamp the brush stroke style pattern came to me and I decided to use the shades of grey ink from Altenew Gentlemans Gray.

I then mounted my white layer onto a black card base and added the die cut HAPPY sentiment panel and a birthday balloon from the Tall Type Tagalong Dies. I added the polka dot playful pattern to the centre of the balloon which is adhered using foam adhesive for a tiny bit of dimension.

A fun playful card and a layout that can be changed to suit the recipient by switching colours really easily. I hope I have given you some inspiration for those often hard to make masculine cards.

Thanks for stopping by today. Crafty Hugs Bev x
