One Stencil, Three Cards!

One Stencil, Three Cards!

Hello Again & Happy Thursday!

Today I am sharing a duo of clean & simple masculine birthday cards, which all use the same stencil, Sugarpea Designs Torn Stripes Stencil.

I love stripes and something a little bit different, like the torn edges really appealed to me. I like using stripes and anything geometric for a quick masculine card too!

This first card I simply inked through the stencil with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink. I then created an angled panel to stamp the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment from Concord & 9th Everyday Greetings.

The angled lines of the sentiment panel is something I do a lot when making a clean and simple card. Against a fun background like these stencil torn stripes adds a really eye catching design.

Lastly I wanted to create a card using just a section of the stencil by masking & inking separate colours to create a fun banner type effect to highlight the same birthday sentiment.

This is another quick and easy design, which I think is perfect to customise using a favourite colour or combination of colours.

That's all from me today, I hope I have given you some fun ideas to try using stencils and for masculine cards. Thanks for stopping by.
