Pool Party
Hey there, Terri here! Today I am sharing a Pool Party Birthday card. This hot weather has me needing to cool down and I love to float in water so I thought this card would be so fun to create.
I stamped all of my images from the Lawn Fawn's Pool Party Stamp Set. I coloured them using alcohol markers and then die cut them using the Pool Party Die Set. How cute are the animals sunning themselves on their pool floats?
To create the pool I used the Stitched Pond Frame Die Set, I cut the frame from white card, I added ink to the middle section and then coated it in clear texture paste. I sprinkled it with Lawn Fawn's Chunky Glitter and Prisma Glitter, I love how it makes the water shimmer.
I cut the frame two more times so that I could layer the pool edge up to create a raised edge. I then added all of the elements to an A2 cardbase which I covered with a gingham paper. Lastly I added a sentiment, which was heat embossed onto black card.
This is a birthday party I'd love to be invited to!
