Snappy Birthday

Snappy Birthday

Hey, Terri here! Today I am sharing a clean and simple card using some very cute Lawn Fawn Products. I've had the Croc My World Stamp Set for a little while now and just didn't really know what to do with it. I don't have any other animals it would fit with so I was left scratching my head...then I though about this design, I hop you like it.

I stamped the Croc onto Neenah solar crest 80lb cardstock and coloured with alcohol markers, I added a little rosy cheek and some white highlights with a gel pen, this really helped to bring him to life. I then die cut him with the Croc My World Die Set.

Next I used Oliver's Stitched ABCs Die Set to die cut the letters to spell out "snappy" from red card and black foam. I used a hi tack wet glue to adhere them together. I then used So Much To Say Stamp Set to heat emboss the word birthday onto black card.

I started to put the scene together by covering an A2 card with some patterned paper, I then added the die cut letters and then the croc using some foam tape to bring him level with the letters. I then added the my sub sentiment underneath, this is when I decided that the Croc needed a party hat and what is a birthday wihtout cake! So I stamped, coloured and die cut using the Party Animal Stamp and Die set.

I love how this card turned out, as soon as my teenage son saw it he said I'd love that for my birthday, so it can't be bad lol.
