Trigonometry Birthday

Trigonometry Birthday

Good morning! It's Deborah here with you today. I know that many people struggle with making masculine cards, but I really enjoy making them. And today, I've got a clean, simple and graphic birthday card to share.

I used Altenew's Trigonometry stamp set for the front of the card. The set contains nine triangle stamps the same size with different patterns, a few smaller triangles and some sentiments. I picked the stacked triangles and dotty triangle to make this border. I used my stamp positioner as I wanted to make sure that I got the spacing correct. To finish the front I drew in the black border with a ruler and some black pens, and then added the birthday sentiment.

Inside, I used the birthday greeting from Altenew's Halftone Stars. I like that the scripty font is a contrast to the clean, crisp geometric images. I carried on the triangle theme by stamping the smaller triangle images to co-ordinate with the border on the front.

That's it from me today. I hope everyone is keeping safe and well, and enjoying the somewhat cooler, wetter weather. At least it gives us an excuse to stay inside and craft. Bye for now, see you next week.
