Winter Birthday Card

Winter Birthday Card

Hi stampers, Anni here!

After all these Christmas cards I made, I am happy to go back to making cards for other occasions. Don’t get me wrong, I love to make Christmas cards and I am planning to make one every month.

Now is the time to use the stamps you haven’t used for your Christmas cards and make winter cards. I went for My Favorite Things’ Warm Hugs and Frosty Kisses – such a cute set.

I started by stamping the images I wanted to use and coloured them with pencils. To cut out the images there are coordinating dies available.

For the background I sued an all time favorite: My Favorite Things’ Mini Cloud Edges stencil. This stencil comes in three different sizes and in my opinion you need all three of them.

I did some ink blending over the stencil, especially in these areas where I wanted my images to sit.

After I arranged the critters on my card there was not much room for a sentiment. I chose one that is quite tiny and neutral from Mama Elephant’s Mini Everyday Messages and stamped it on my panel. And that finished up my card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty weekend.

Anni
