Winter Bouquet
Holly, Mistletoe and Pine boughs make me think of Christmas but I've added them as a seasonal arrangement on this winter Birthday card instead...
This greenery is from the Funky Festive dies by Sizzix, I have cut them with white card and used a sponge dauber and Distress Oxide inks to colour them on my mini Media mat. The pieces layer so it's easy to make leaves green and branches brown, for example. Once I'd made a collection of stems and twigs and found a way to arrange them, I used the Waffleflower Spotlight Square Stencil to blend a soft focal point towards the top of my card base...
The etched markings on the stencil help you to acurately place your square anywhere on your card base... even if you are using UK card sizes. Once the ink had dried I heat embossed a sentiment from Mama Elephants Scripty Birthday then attached my greenery and added a small tag. I love the CAS design and pop of colour :)
