I've used a lovely stamp set from The Greetery today called Winter Sketches..... it's perfect to make a clean & simple card for this chilly season....

I started with a rectangle of white card and used Wp9's All the Cheer sentiment set to stamp my greeting first. Placing the wording first meant it was easier to play around with the placement of the two branches which are stamped in layers, building from the wood to the berries. I allowed the ink to dry completely before using the outline stamps for both images to add a gold embossed layer that just adds a touch of metallic that catches the light....

It's one of those sets that looks perfectly okay if it's not quite lined up properly :) I trimmed the panel of card to fit the card base with a border and mounted it onto a piece of dark green paper to add an extra mount. I used Altenews Fine Frames cover die to cut a narrow raised border... trimming it so as not to overlap the images....

I do love that touch of gold embossing and stamping the sentiment first paid off too as I'm always struggling to work out where to put it on this style of card!
