Hey stampers, Anni here!

After showing you a Mother's Day card last week today I have a Father's Day card for you. Over here in Germany next Thursday is Father's Day.

My father likes lions so I went for Reverse Confetti's Leaping Lions. I stamped the male lion and the pedestal and coloured both with pencils. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and gave the lion really black eyes and nose with a black gel pen.

To cute the images out there are coordinating dies available.

Just like on the Mother's Day card I wanted to spell out "Father's Day" in German. So I went for My Favorite Things' Little Letters in uppercase and lowercase. I am addicted to alphabet die sets - I have some in a few different sizes and fonts. They are so versatile and you can put whatever sentiment you want on your card.

I also added a little "zum" what means "for" using Mama Elephant's Lots Of Letters.

For the background I die cut a piece of patterned paper from my stash using Lawn Fawn's Zig Zag Rectangle Stackables - they are on sale right now.

Then I assembled my card.
