Please don't blame me for the change in weather but I broke out the Backyard BBQ die set from Sugarpea Designs and made a picnic scene in the countryside. This die set is beyond adorable and has many elements with cuteness overload such as the utensils and meat for the bbq.

I die cut the BBQ from coloured card, along with the sauce bottles and utensils but the rest of the pieces are cut from white card so I could colour them with Copics or ink blending. I kept the scenery simple and used my knife to cut a grassy hill and a cloud die from my stash to make a distant hedgerow.

I went for a bold sentiment using Concord & 9th's Double Cut Alpha dies.... I love how you can cut them with a contrasting outline. The sub sentiment is from Avery Elles Simple sentiments... they pair up perfectly. Did you notice the grey sky?.... well I had to make it realistic as we all know thats what usually happens when the bbq comes out!!

No apologies for another guys card!.... of course this die set can be used for many occasions and lots of the elements can be used individually too.
