Kick Back and Chill
I have a card for the guys again today which is also perfect for this lovely warm weather we are having at the moment...
This rather relaxed chap is from Art Impressions Happy Trails stamp set but instead of being on holiday he's having a staycation in his garden and relaxing with a beer. I stamped him onto watercolour card and painted him before freestyling a very simple and stylised hedge and flower border behind him.
To create a focal point I used a piece of textured grey card and cut part of an oval shape into the bottom right corner which I then attached with foam tape. I love the sentiment and font used in Colorado Crafts His Birthday set... its the perfect sentiment for Retirement, Birthday or Father's Day cards. Doesn't he look happy and rather comfy :)
