Flashback Friday Bargains - Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Plus His New release

As we've welcomed Tim Holtz's Stampers Anonymous range back into store this week, we thought we'd time it with a sale on some of his older items - so the links to this week's bargains are simple - head to the Stampers Anonymous page and grab all of these items at 50% off.

For some extra inspiration here's a couple of quick cards I made with older stencils and one of the fab new stamps. The big bold new abstract floral images are perfect for simple silhoutte stamping and make a BIG statement. I made a set of 6 notecards with them - the perfect little gift set.

You can see here - the triple pack stencils (on sale) are smaller than the individual ones (also on sale) and they make the perfect background for the black images when layered together.

I started with the smaller stencils in a mid tone, quickly blended a lighter tone on top so the stencil pattern deliberately smudged a bit then added the patchwork images over the top with a darker tonal ink. I added a few splatters too as I was in full on Tim mode. I find it hard to get messy sometimes but am really pleased with this set which is perfectly timed as a gift for our neighbour this afternoon as I needed a little thank you present. Here's the full set - you could stick to one colour or go rainbow - either way makes a fab gift. The stamp is brand new so is NOT on sale but the stencils are.
