A Cup Of Love
I've got a quick to make card for coffee lovers to share today using the fun new Mugs Stencil from Newton's Nook paired with a sentiment from MFT's Cup of Love stamp set.
I simply stencilled the mugs directly onto the kraft base card using gathered twigs oxide ink and then used alcohol markers to add colour to the different patterns (you don't have to be too careful with this as the oxide kind of resists the markers). To add more depth I popped the stencil back in place and added espresso ink (altenew) using a detail blending tool to the side of each mug with the handle.
The sentiment was embossed in vanilla (wow) on brown card for the coffee theme and I finished with some white gel pen highlights to the steam.
Simples!
