Grateful pumpkins

I've got a cute mini card to share today, although if you don't like mini cards you could do the same technique bigger or make a panel to put on a larger card. I love autumn, especially autumnal food, and squashes of all varieties so the Simply Celebrate Fall Stamp was calling me to fill my card with pumpkins!

I stamped the line of pumpkins onto a piece of masking paper, then starting in the middle of my mini kraft card (it's 10 x 7 cm) I stamped the pumpkins on a diagonal, applied the mask then extended the line to the left and right so it reached to the corners of the card. I then used the mask to continue the lines above and below the middle one, moving it as I went up and down until I'd covered the entire mini card front.

Then I went crazy with coloured pencils! Pumpkins come in many shades - not just the standard halloween orange - I love the crown prince which comes in shades of greens and teals and Casper which is white like the friendly ghost. Once I'd finished colouring I just stamped one of the sentiments from the co-ordinating Simply Fall Sentiments set in red on orange to make it pop with a black matt.
