Cook's Apron

Cook's Apron

I've got a couple of quick fun makes to share today using the new Apron Treat Bag Die from Mama Elephant.   I've made one bag but also by cutting it down you can use it on a card too!

It's really simple to make a bag - die cut the apron twice from whatever card you want to use (make sure you turn your card over for one if using patterned paper so you get a left and right side cut), fold along the lines and glue togther.   Add the pocket to the front and add the added extras to decorate.

I used some scraps of patterened paper to cut the top of the apron and then followed the dotted lines so I could trim the apron and same for the top of the pocket.

For the card I used more patterned scraps to make the apron colourful against the black and white background.   The sentiment comes from Bitty Birthday Wishes and Cook Up Some Fun both from MFT Stamps.   The background was stamped with All the Cupcakes before popping the apron on top.

I've stuck with the cooking theme using the items that come with the die set, but you could easily turn it into a crafting apron by adding some crafty tools in the pocket instead with crafty die from Concord and 9th.

Catch you on Sunday

Tara
