Love You

Love You

Happy Thursday!

Today I am bringing you all some LOVE  as I think we could all do with some, plus Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. I don’t normally make a huge fuss about Valentine’s and I usually leave making a card for hubby till the last minute - haha!

This year as we will be at home, still in lockdown and not much else to look forward to I would make an effort and make it a little more special and something to look forward to. So I got to making a Valentine card and although it is a little too pink for hubby it is perfect for my boys. They are 6 and currently love the colour pink, they have just started saying ‘Love You, Mummy’.

For my card today I’ve used a selection of Concord & 9th products. I started with Playful Patterns stamp set and simply love this set for the selection of patterns it contains that can be used for so many different occasions. As you can see I used the scattered heart pattern to create my background stamped in Altenew Rubellite ink.

I’ve then used the Tall Type Alphabet to create my LOVE YOU focal sentiment, replacing the ‘O’ in love with a heart  A super simple design and quick (ish) to make, so replicating it again shouldn’t be too hard, I have twin boys & some things just ‘have to be the same’! Now, I’ve only hubby’s card to think about and make.

Short & sweet from me this week, but I will be back with sharing more of my Valentine’s Day preparations with you next week! Until then, stay safe & thanks for stopping by.
