Scent With Love

Scent With Love

Hey there, Terri here today with a last minute idea for a valentines card. I thought I'd use the Skunks from Scent With Love Stamp Set, I adore the image of the two Skunks cuddeling.

I stamped the image onto 80lb super smooth cardstock using black alcohol friendly ink and then coloured se the pinkusing alcohol markers. I also stamped the little bow and heart that looks like their scent. I then added white gel pen highlights before cutting the images.

To create the background I die cut a piece of the Spiffier Speckles 12x12 Paper using the largest of the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackable dies. I chose to use the pink/coral colour. I then used the Conversation Hearts Stencils to add pattern to my backgrorund. I used Saltwater Taffy distress oxide ink for the first layer of the stencil and then Coral Bliss crisp dye ink form Altenew for the sencond layer.

I added the stenciled background onto a white A2 card blank before adding my chosen sentiment. I stamped the senitment onto a banner using the Coral Bliss ink and adhered it to the card using foam pads. This then let me know where to add everything else. I placed the skunks onto a circle die cut which I ink blended with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide ink and added white ink splatters. This was placed onto the card using foam pads also, I then added the heart and bow. Lastly I used some glossy accents and glitter glue to embellish.

Thank you for stopping by today, whether you celebrate Valentines day or not I hope you have a lovely day tomorrow and enjoyed this post.
