Wood You be Mine?
Hey Terri here! Let me start by wishing you all a very happy new year. I hope you have a had a good festive period and feel rested and refreshed. Here's to a year full of crafty fun.
I thought as Christmas is well out of the way (for now at least) the next special occasion to creat for would be Valetines day. As soon as I saw the Wood You be Mine Stamp Set I knew I had to create a CAS scene. I started by stamping the two beavers holding the heart in Momento ink onto Neenah Solast crest 80lb cardstock. I then used my alcohol markers to colour. I also stamped out the log for htem to sit on and coloured this too. I used the Wood You be Mine dies to cut the images.
I set the imiages aside and set about cutting an A2 stitched rectangle using the Large Stitched Rectangle dies. I then used a heart die from my stash to cut an apperture out of some thick acetate. I then used the apperture to ink blend distress oxide inks through it with a blending brush. I used Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry. I then added a splattering of Liquid Stardust with the apperture still inplace.
Once dry I stamped the sentiment in black ink and added the images using foam tape. I then placed the rectangle panel onto a A2 cardbase. I am super happy with how cute and simple this card is. I hope you like it.
