Hello & Happy Thursday.

I’m here today with two die cut cards. It was actually Tara who inspired these cards and reminded me that I wanted the Concord & 9th Enchanted Garden Dies!

My first idea was to die cut the panel from black card and overly it onto a ink blended base card, which is what I did for this first card.

I used Honeysuckle, Poppy, Marmalade, Buttercup, Sprout and Oceanside to ink blend my background and I used the inside detail panel to die cut more of the beautiful detail before finishing with the Happy Birthday sentiment from Pop-Up Par-Tay.

It was while I was die cutting the black panel, that I realised I didn’t want to waste the die cut details and to make a second card. So I die cut the panel from white and inlaid the black pieces to create my second card before actually finishing my first!

Here I finished with an ink blended die cut sentiment from the set. Such a fun die set and so many fun techniques to explore. I am looking forward to using this more.
