You're so Por-CUTE-Pine...

You're so Por-CUTE-Pine...

Hey, Terri here! Today I am sharing an adorable card using the new Porcu-pine for you stamp set and it's coordinating Porcu-pine for you die set. This card could be used as a valentine's day card or just to tell someone that you think they are cute.

I started by stamping all of my chosen images from the Porcu-pine for you stamp set onto 80lb super smooth cardstock, I then coloured them with my alcohol markers and added white gel pen higlights before using the coordinating Porcu-pine for you die set to cut them out.

I then started work on my back ground, I cut a piece of Spiffier speckles 12x12 paper pad using a stitched rectangle die, I then added this to an A2 white card blank. I then cut a piece of green card using the same rectangle die and then cut two hills using the Slimline Grassy Hillside Borders Dies from this, this way they also have the matching stitched edge. I added a little green inking the grassy hills before spritzing with water.

To create my sentiment I used Oliver's Stitched ABCs Dies to cute the word "CUTE" from red cardstock. I then used the coordinating Porcu-pine for you stamp set to white heat emboss the " You're so por-cute-pine" sentiment. I used some washi tape to mask the "cute" section of the sentiment as this was being highlighted with the die cut letters.

I added the grassy hillsides to the spiffier speckles background and the started to create the scene, adding the die cut elements with eith foam tape or a strong wet glue. I the placed the sentiment sections inplace using foam tape for the heat embossed pieces and glue for the die cuts.

I think this card is super cute and had lots of fun making it. Thank you for stopping by today, remember we share crafty inspiration all through the week so come back for more.
