Plaid Hearts

Plaid Hearts

Hello & Happy Thursday.

Today I have a twofer to share with you. I love it when one card idea creates two cards because of the process and supplies used.

First up my original card idea, a clean & simple plaid heart Valentine card.

I was delighted to see the Concord & 9th Plaid Turnabout stamp back in stock. The perfect opportunity to ink it up! I used the All-In-One Turnabout Jig to do this and used Ballet Slipper, Honeysuckle, Poppy and Cranberry ink.

I then die cut the heart using All The Love Dies. I made sure to position the heart when die cutting so that I could use the leftovers for my second card. I finished this clean and simple design with a white partial heat embossed sentiment from Delicate Blossoms and a few sequins from my stash.

This then followed on to my second card, a Valentine shaker.

As you can see I used the leftover die cut to create a fun shaker card. I used the Love You die from the same All The Love Dies to finish the card.

Sending You Love & Crafty Hugs

Bev
