I like you a WAFFLE lot
Hey there, Terri here! Today I am sharing a Valentines card featuring the new A Waffle Lot Stamp Set.
I started by stamping all of my chosen images on to white 80lb super smooth cardstock using alcohol friendly ink. I stamped the waffles, berries, crumbs and syrup from the A Waffle Lot stamp set. The Bannana, Yogurt and banana peel from the So Smooth stamp set and the bowl, spoon, butter, flour and eggs from the Baked with love stamp set.
I coloured all of the images with alcohol markers and added white gel pen highlights. At this point I thought it would be fun to add some mice into the scene. I decided to use the So Very Mice stamp set, the cute mouse holding the embroidery hoop works perfectly to hold a waffle, just a couple of snips and it looked so darn adorable.
I added some patterned paper to an A2 note card to look like a counter top and wall. I then used Oliver's Stitched ABCs dies to cut the word "WAFFLE" from both red and black card. I adhered them together with a slight drop shadow and added white gel pen accents. I adhered the die cut letters to the lower part of the card and then added a rest of the sentiment which was white heat embossed on to balck card.
Now was the fun part, creating the scene. I thought a mouse stiring the waffle mixture would be cute, as well as the mouse nibbling at a waffle and dropping crumbs. The third mouse just stood behind the yougurt waving is too cute.
