Valentines Beavers
Hey, Terri here. With only 3 weeks left until Valetnine's Day I thought I'd share some more inspiration with you. I will be using the Wood You be Mine Stamp Set along with lots of other Lawn Fawn products.
I started by stamping my chosen images in Alcohol proof ink onto 80lb Neenah Solar white cardstock. I then use my alcohol markers to add colour. I also added some white gel pen highlights and then cut using the Wood You be Mine Die Set.
I started to create the background by die cutting pieces of white super smooth card using the largest of the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackable Dies. On one of the cut pieces I used the Sunray Background Stencil and some Distress Oxide ink to add the Sunrays.
I then used the other die cut stitched rectangle to cut my waves and grassy using the Stitched Waves Borders Dies and Slimline Grassy Hillside Dies. I ink blended each using Distress Oxide inks and spritzing with water to soften them.
I added the die cut waves section to the Sunray background and then added the grass to this. I then added the background to an A2 card base. Next I added the coloured images to the card usisng foam tape. I also added a few die die hearts and Bullrushes to embellish. Lastly I added a stamped sentiment on a die cut banner.
I love the soft background with those cute little Beavers. I think that's enough Valentine's day cards for me this year. I hope you enjoyed today's post.
